Support for Caregivers: Amy Shaw PA Partners with Laramie County Library for New Dementia Caregiver Support Group

I’m excited to announce that, starting in April, I will be partnering with the Laramie County Library to offer a Dementia Caregiver Support Group for community members living in Laramie County! This group is designed for caregivers of individuals living with dementia and aims to provide support, resources, and understanding from others who are navigating similar challenges.

This supportive space will allow caregivers to come together, share personal experiences, and connect with others who understand the unique challenges of the dementia journey. By participating, you'll find camaraderie and support, which can help alleviate feelings of isolation and remind you that you are not alone. I welcome you to share, listen, and learn from one another in a compassionate environment.

When: Our meetings will take place on the fourth Friday of each month, starting on April 25, 2025.

Time: Join us from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

Where: We will gather in the Willow Room, located on the first floor of the Laramie County Library.

This support group is a safe space to share experiences, discuss concerns, and learn practical strategies from other caregivers to navigate the complexities of the caregiving journey. It’s also a valuable opportunity to connect with others who truly understand what you’re going through.

Whether you are just beginning your caregiving journey or have been navigating it for some time, I invite you to join our community. Together, we can find strength, share knowledge, and support one another.
